Created Tampa

Created Tampa, located in the heart of downtown, is a transformational program that rescues vulnerable women from the sex industry, and tirelessly serves, counsels, educates, and rehabilitates some of our most vulnerable.

Nearly 60 years ago, Created's current property was developed into a hotel—an "AAA Recommended" destination for Florida tourists looking to escape and restore. Following decades of neglect, poverty extended north from downtown Tampa and many of these vacation properties slipped into disrepair and became notorious epicenters of criminal activity and exploitation.

The Porchlight Foundation is working with Created to renovate and expand their existing campus in Tampa, and to provide the type of living and recovery space that contributes to healing through light, space, and community.
